Your Instructors:

Kevin Lemons :

(RYT-200) first discovered yoga in a university course, when his curiosity led him to an immediate experience with asana that forever changed his approach to physical fitness and spirituality. Since then, Kevin has had two decades of yoga practice, mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area. He studied under Bija “Pretzel” France, who taught him the importance of dedicated training and channeling energy in order to safely push boundaries of the body and mind. Kevin has since graduated from Invoke’s teacher training under the guidance of Ahna Hoke, who helped him to refine his focus on alignment and further explore yogic philosophy.  He has taught for over a year at various studios, gyms, and corporations in Indianapolis.  He is drawn to the dynamic, varying flow of vinyasa classes, and teaches with an emphasis on body placement and linking breath to movement while encouraging students to explore new poses. He believes that yoga should be at times challenging, restorative, invigorating, and calming, but always empowering and life-enhancing.

Anne Wolka

(RYT-200) fell in love with the teachings and philosophy of yoga early in her practice, using them for personal growth and transformation. She graduated from Invoke’s teacher training under the guidance of Ahna Hoke, who helped her dive more deeply into both her spiritual as well as her physical practice. She has been teaching for two years at various studios, gyms, and corporations in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her offerings as a teacher are holistic, including slow-flow vinyasa, yin yoga, yoga nidra (yogic sleep), pranayama (yogic breathing techniques), meditation, and chanting. She readily shares the teachings of yoga in her classes, as well, to provide students with inspiring and well-rounded practices uniting the body, mind, and spirit.
