About your teachers:

Emily visited Costa
Rica in 2013 and fell in love with the culture and natural beauty. The visit
sparked a deep love of travel, and she said that when she returned she would
like to become a yoga teacher, and offer classes there. That dream is now
coming to fruition as she, and her husband Bryan are now leading an all
inclusive yoga retreat at Vista Celestial. Emily is certified by the
International Association of Yoga Therapists and is a 500 hour certified yoga
instructor. Emily believes that yoga contains the tools to help people change
their lives for the better. She teaches both group classes, and does private
yoga therapy sessions with clients who want a better understanding of what
yogic practices would suit their needs best. She has a presence which helps
foster openness and healing.

Bryan’s journey with
yoga began back in 2012 as he started making lifestyle changes to live a more
harmonious, fulfilling and peaceful life. Interfacing with different spiritual
teachers, practicing various mind-body disciplines and deepening his self-study
eventually opened the door to go and train earnestly at Yogaville, Virginia, through
the Living Yoga Training (LYT) program. He continued his immersion into yogic
lifestyle for another 33 days with his 200 hour registered yoga teacher
training in 2015. Bryan has been a support and leader in the local yoga
community, and is an experienced group facilitator with a love for travel,
adventure and creative collaboration. He has continued to deepen his education
in health and wellness and spirituality through pursuing his bachelor’s degree
with Ashford University, and with additional certifications such as Usui Reiki
in the first and second degree, Laughter Yoga, and Outdoor Experiential
Education. Bryan’s mission as a yoga teacher and wellness professional are to
continue to support the global yoga community, to educate others to create positive
lasting changes for greater well-being, and to reunite with the Spirit of Yoga
in all ways.
