Your Instructors:

Hello, my name is Z, short for Zi Yan. I love practicing yoga and sharing this practice with others. I became a certified yoga teacher in 2014 and have been teaching in Las Vegas, Shanghai, and now Miami.
I found yoga when I was a undergraduate student at UNLV. The stress of school was getting to me till I found this wonderful practice of yoga. I have grown so much since yoga became a part of my life. I am stronger. I am more flexible. I am better equipped to live the life that I want.

I am always a firm believer that yoga is for everyone. No matter what background you come from, your active level, you will always find something in yoga that can make you feel good.

In my classes, I like to combine asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and dhyana (meditation) to help my students stay present in the moment. I like to guide my students through modeling, verbal cues and hands-on adjustments as I think it’s important to build mind-body awareness early on. Even though we will challenge ourselves from time to time, I like to keep the classroom atmosphere light, supportive and fun. Whether you are a beginner, or a seasoned practioner, come and practice with me. Let’s unite!
