About Mariana:

I was born and raised in Mexico City. Started my yoga journey when I was 14 years old and moved to Miami for a year with my aunt who at the time was a yoga instruct and was the owner of a studio. Yoga opened my eyes to a new way of living. Yoga hugged me, strengthen, opened, and balanced me. Since then, I’ve been practicing on and off, but it has always had a special place in my heart. I took my teaching training at Green Monkey when I was a junior in high school. It took me two years to become a teacher. It took me a while to believe in my self. However, as my emotional and spiritual practiced developed I started to see the greatness within me. One day I chose to feel the fear and do it anyway. Right after taking this powerful step, teaching became my passion. It also became my job. I’m extremely happy of doing what I love. For the last two years I’ve been teaching in a few studios in Miami, Wynwood yoga, Vanilla Sky, Love Life Wellness Center, Brickell Hot Yoga, etc. I also teach private and corporate classes. I mainly focus in teaching hot power and restorative yoga, but I teach other styles like yin, intermediate vinyasa, and prenatal. Now is the time of taking the next step. Leading a retreat was something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I am so excited of taking this adventure of loving myself each day a little more because the more I do, the more adventures I take, the more fears I face, and the more I believe in myself. Today I chose to follow my dream of leading a yoga retreat.
